Gecko Footpads Inspire a Superior Adhesive for Humans

A strong and reversible adhesive developed by researchers at the University of Massachusetts made CNN Money’s list of five scientific breakthroughs in 2012.

Geckskin is a dry adhesive that can hold up to 700 pounds and won’t leave a residue when it’s removed.
